OUR ASSESSMENT PROCESS
As part of the counselling services we offer there is an initial assessment process that takes place. The word ‘assessment’ can be an intimidating and scary word. Our assessments are done in a gentle and respectful way. They are about us looking for information from you that will help us understand your reasons for seeking therapy and to ensure that you are placed with the appropriate therapist who can best meet your needs.
For Families
Our family therapist would meet with the parents/guardians for an initial assessment to discuss the needs of the family, it will then be agreed on how to proceed with children and/or extended family members.
The average fee for family therapy is €50 per session, this can be discussed with your therapist who has some discretion on this matter. We are a low-cost community counselling service and offer therapy sessions on a sliding scale based on what each family can afford.
Should you need any help or clarification on this please contact us.
For Couples
Our relationship therapist would meet with the couple for an initial appointment to assess the needs of the couple. Upon agreement they will then proceed with the relationship therapy process.
The average fee for relationship therapy is €50, this can be discussed with your therapist who has some discretion on this matter; We are a low-cost community counselling service and offer therapy sessions on a sliding scale based on what each couple can afford.
